Privacy notice
This notice explains how Amplify Your Voice Pte. Ltd. (“the studio”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit https://amplifyyourvoice.pro, send a message through the contact form, telephone +65 6437 5218, or write to hello@amplifyyourvoice.pro. We practise public-relations and communications work from 8 Temasek Boulevard, #12-05 Suntec Tower Three, Singapore 038988. Questions about this notice may be sent to privacy@amplifyyourvoice.pro.
We read the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the “PDPA”) as the primary law for this notice. Guidance published by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) informs how we describe purposes, consent, retention and individual rights. If you are outside Singapore and write to us anyway, we still treat your enquiry as if the PDPA applied to the file we hold in Singapore.
Who we are
Amplify Your Voice Pte. Ltd. is the organisation that publishes this site and that receives enquiries about reputation counsel, media relations and related professional services. The studio is the data controller for personal data collected through this site and through the published telephone and email channels. We do not sell personal data. We do not operate a joint controller arrangement with a media owner or a marketplace. Hosting is provided by a professionally managed provider with a Singapore presence; that provider processes data on our instructions as a data intermediary where the PDPA uses that term.
This notice is written in Singapore English. It is meant to be read by a founder, a corporate communications lead or a colleague who simply wants to know what happens to a name and an email address after they press send.
The personal data we collect
When you use the contact form on contact.php, we collect the name, email address and message you type, together with the fact that you ticked the consent box. The form also contains a decoy field that human visitors are not asked to complete; if that field is filled we treat the submission as automated and we do not use the contents as a genuine enquiry. We do not ask for identity documents, payment details or employment history through this site.
When you telephone the studio or send an email to hello@amplifyyourvoice.pro, we collect the number or mailbox you used, the content of the conversation or message, and any name you volunteer. If you later become a client, we may also hold the business title, organisation name and working notes needed to administer the engagement. Those working notes live in the professional file, not in a marketing list.
When you browse the site, our host may record technical logs such as internet protocol address, browser type, date and time of the request, and the page requested. Those logs exist to keep the site available and to investigate abuse. They are not used to build a profile of your reading habits, and we do not attach them to your contact-form name unless we are investigating a security incident.
If you set a cookie preference through the banner, we store a small preference record in your browser under the key ayv_resonance_prefs. That record remembers whether you agreed, declined or saved a custom choice, and whether the Google Maps embed may load. It is kept for 90 days and then expires. Details sit on the cookies page.
Purposes
We use personal data for a short list of purposes, and we do not stretch them.
First, we reply to enquiries. Contact-form submissions are sent to hello@amplifyyourvoice.pro so that a person at the studio can read your note and answer it. Telephone and email enquiries are answered from the same desk. If you ask about an engagement model, we use your details to arrange a conversation during SGT working hours.
Second, we administer a professional relationship if one begins. That may include scheduling, sending a linen brief, invoicing through ordinary business channels, and keeping the working file that public-relations work requires. We do not use enquiry data to add you to a newsletter. This site has no newsletter form.
Third, we keep the site safe and usable. Technical logs help us see whether the form is being abused, whether a rate limit should hold, and whether the host is behaving. Cookie preference data exists so that we do not ask the same question on every page load during the 90-day window.
Fourth, we comply with law. If a competent Singapore authority lawfully requires us to retain or disclose a record, we will do so to the extent required. We will not volunteer a client file to a journalist or a counterpart because it would be convenient.
We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces a legal or similarly significant effect. We do not score visitors. We do not run look-alike audiences from this site.
Consent and other bases
The contact form asks you to tick a consent box before we treat the submission as an enquiry we may use. The box is not pre-ticked. If it is left empty, the handler will not send the message and will ask you to review the field. That tick is consent to our using the name, email and message to reply, and to our storing the exchange for the retention period below.
When you telephone or email the studio, we take the fact of the incoming message as a request that we respond. We still apply the PDPA’s consent and deemed-consent principles, and we still honour a later request to stop. You may withdraw consent by writing to privacy@amplifyyourvoice.pro. Withdrawal does not undo a reply already sent, and it does not delete records we must keep to show that we handled a complaint or a legal duty.
Cookie preferences are a separate consent. Agreeing to the banner allows the optional Google Maps embed to load on the contact page. Declining leaves necessary storage only. Adjusting lets you save a custom choice. Necessary cookies — or local storage used for the preference itself — are required for the banner to remember your answer.
Where the PDPA allows us to process personal data without fresh consent because the processing is necessary for a contract you have asked us to enter, or because we have a legal obligation, we rely on that provision and we say so if you ask.
Retention
Enquiry records (form, email, telephone notes) are kept for twenty-four months after the last meaningful exchange, unless a longer period is required to administer an engagement or to handle a dispute. If no engagement begins, we aim to close the file at the end of that window.
Client working files follow the life of the engagement plus a further period that is reasonable for professional services in Singapore — typically six years for contractual correspondence, shorter for purely administrative scheduling notes. We do not keep press materials that contain personal data longer than the engagement needs.
Server logs are rotated by the host on a shorter cycle, usually within ninety days, unless an incident requires a hold. Cookie preference records expire after 90 days in the browser that set them.
When a retention period ends, we delete or irreversibly anonymise the record. Backups may take a short additional interval to expire. We do not keep a shadow marketing copy.
Access, correction and other requests
You may ask us what personal data we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Write to privacy@amplifyyourvoice.pro from the mailbox we already have on file, or include enough detail for us to find the record without guessing. We may need to verify that we are speaking to the right person. We aim to respond within the period expected by the PDPC’s guidance — in ordinary cases, within thirty days.
You may also ask us to withdraw consent, to delete a record we no longer need, or to explain a purpose again in plainer language. If we cannot meet a request in full — for example because another person’s data is mixed into a note, or because we must keep a record for law — we will say so and explain the part we can still do.
If you are unhappy with our response, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore. We would rather resolve the file with you first, and we will treat a complaint to privacy@amplifyyourvoice.pro as a priority note.
Cookies and similar storage
The site uses a first-party preference record so the cookie banner does not repeat itself for 90 days. The storage key is ayv_resonance_prefs. Categories, button labels and the vendor list are set out on the cookies page. We do not attach a newsletter sign-up to the banner. We do not use the preference record to advertise.
Google Maps embed
The contact page includes a Google Maps embed that shows a pin on 8 Temasek Boulevard, #12-05 Suntec Tower Three, Singapore 038988. When that embed loads, Google may collect technical data such as internet protocol address, browser information and interaction with the map, according to Google’s own notices. That collection is outside the studio’s servers. We include the embed so that a visitor can see where the Temasek studio sits on the Marina Centre corridor. If you decline optional embeds through the banner, we will remember that choice for 90 days; you can still reach us by form, telephone or email without using the map. Opening the contact page with the embed allowed means Google’s systems may receive data as described in Google’s maps and privacy documentation. We do not receive a copy of that technical data from Google for our own profiling.
Sharing and transfers
We share personal data with the hosting provider that serves this site, with the mailbox infrastructure that delivers messages to hello@amplifyyourvoice.pro, and with professional advisers if a matter requires them — for example an accountant or a solicitor bound to confidentiality. We do not share enquiry data with journalists, counterparties or “partner networks” as a matter of course.
If a tool that helps us run the mailbox or the host stores a copy outside Singapore, we look for a transfer arrangement that the PDPA can live with, and we keep the copy limited to what the tool needs. We do not send enquiry lists to a third country for advertising.
Security
We use HTTPS for this site. The contact handler accepts POST requests, checks required fields, applies a rate limit, and ignores decoy completions. Mail is sent as ordinary email to hello@amplifyyourvoice.pro. Email is not a sealed courier; if your note is highly sensitive, telephone the studio and we will agree a safer channel. Access to the mailbox and to working files is limited to people who need the file. We do not publish a registry of clients on this site.
No method of transmission or storage is perfect. We take the precautions that a small professional services studio in Singapore can reasonably take, and we review them when the way we work changes.
Children
This site is written for founders, corporate communications leads and other adults acting for organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have done so, write to privacy@amplifyyourvoice.pro and we will delete the record.
Changes
We will update this notice when our purposes, our tools or the law require it. The date at the top of the page is the date of the current text. Material changes will be described in the change-log below. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new notice applies to new activity; it does not rewrite consent you already gave unless we ask again.
